Intake and conflicts
A prospect pipeline, intake questionnaires in English and Spanish, signed intake from your website, conflict searches and an attorney review gate. Staff collect the facts; only an attorney decides.
§ 1Intake and conflicts
The prospect pipeline
Every new caller, website enquiry or referral becomes a prospect with a status, an owner and a history. Reception and intake staff move prospects forward; the pipeline shows where each one stands and what it is waiting for.
- Prospects from calls, your website and partner sources
- A status history on every prospect
- Duplicates caught against people you already know
§ 2Intake and conflicts
Questionnaires in English and Spanish
Intake questionnaires are versioned forms that staff run during a call or that a prospective client completes in the portal. LegalBook ships seven immigration questionnaires in English and Spanish. Your firm clones one, adjusts it, and publishes it after an attorney signs it off.
Questionnaires collect self-reported facts for the legal team. They do not decide eligibility. Answers that the firm flags send the intake to an attorney.
- Seven immigration questionnaires, English and Spanish
- Published only after attorney sign-off
- Flagged answers route to an attorney
- Answers become fact candidates, verified by a person
§ 3Intake and conflicts
Intake from your own website
A form on your firm’s website can create a prospect directly. Each submission is signed with a secret your firm holds, so nobody else can post into your pipeline. Until the secret is set, the address does not exist.
§ 4Intake and conflicts
Conflict searches, decided by an attorney
Staff run conflict searches across your people, organizations, prospects and matters. The decision belongs to the attorney: nobody acting on someone else’s behalf, including LegalBook support, can decide a conflict, review an intake or approve an engagement as the attorney.
While an intake waits for attorney review, the prospect waits with it. The attorney accepts or declines with a reason, and an engagement records its scope, so a later request outside that scope is recognized as one.
- Conflict search across people, prospects and matters
- Attorney-only conflict decisions
- Accept or decline with reasons
- Engagements with scope; out-of-scope requests
§ 5Intake and conflicts
People, households and duplicates
People and organizations, their contact methods with consent, relationships and households live in one directory. Safety flags and communication restrictions travel with the person. Duplicates are detected and merged, and a merge can be reversed.
§ 6Status
